PROGRAM

Traditional Hatha Yoga serves as the foundation for our 200-hour Multi-Style & Eco Yoga Teacher Training, because it is the asana-based practice from which all other Yoga styles evolved. But doing Yoga poses is just one part of Patanjali's Ashtanga Yoga system, which also includes the principles for leading a content life. We invite you to grasp the foundation and roots of Yoga, the significance of this ancient philosophy in our daily lives, and how to pass on these lessons after completing our 200-hour yoga teacher training in Bali. Weekly quizzes, a final written test and a practical exam, in which you will lead a yoga class, are all part of our quality control measures for our exceptional program and are designed to help you monitor your progress.

Yoga Philosophy and History

In our lectures on the philosophy and history of yoga, we will only touch on a handful of these issues. We'll take you back to the beginnings of yoga, explore its past and learn how it spread to the west. To help you comprehend the traditional teachings and their applicability today, we will dispel common misconceptions about Yoga and go deeper into Patanjali's Yoga Sutras.

Yoga's etymology, its meaning, its goals, its eras, its paths, its Patanjali Yoga Sutras (Yoga Darshan),and Ashtanga Yoga's current relevance.

Sanskrit Terminology

A fundamental knowledge of the Sanskrit language is crucial in order to fully assimilate the Sanskrit names of the Yoga asanas, mudras, mantras and pranayama techniques. You will be able to recall the Sanskrit names of the various body parts and the asana names at the end of the course, not just because you memorized them, but also because you comprehend how the names are constructed.

Hatha Yoga

All forms of physical Yoga, including asana, are based on Hatha Yoga. You will study more about the many Hatha Yoga scriptures in this subject, along with the reasons why your practice succeeds or fails. There are numerous misconceptions regarding the asana practice, thus we will clarify the foundational ideas of the Yogic practice as well as the distinctions between Yoga and the physical culture.

Yoga Styles

What distinguishes Vinyasa Flow from Hatha Flow? Where was Hatha Yoga first practiced? We inspire you to leave this course knowing how these three Yoga styles, we incorporated in our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Bali, differ and resemble one another. In order for you to ultimately be able to choose which style best suits you, we will provide you with more information about the history of the various styles, as well as instructions on how to teach each one. Hatha Yoga, Hatha Flow and Vinyasa Flow.

Asana Practice

Every morning, you'll get the option to practice various forms of Yoga. Along with teaching classic Hatha Yoga, we also emphasize teaching Ashtanga Vinyasa and more contemporary forms like Yin and Vinyasa Flow. Your individual practice is the primary concern in these classes. Because a consistent self-practice will serve as the cornerstone of all your teachings. We encourage you to use this course to further your personal yoga practice as well. It impacts your effectiveness as a Yoga teacher and is your source of inspiration and energy. Some of us may be teachers, but we will always be learners.
