At our gardens we use natural pesticides and insecticides, incorporating a wastewater garden to water our plants with 'Recycled' water.
We are Reducing, Reusing and Recycling in every aspect at Serenity Bali!
We use as many natural materials as possible in order to apply the 'Permaculture concept'. We do our best to be Eco-friendly.
Our Eco-Friendly Projects
At Serenity Bali, we build most of our structures using bamboo to minimize the use of wood.
Everywhere you see, there will be our spirit of a green ecosystem.

We use our homemade Compost for fertilizer. Plastic bottles are recycled to make walls and barriers.
Our permaculture garden, bee house, and orchid gardens are all part of our mission to preserve nature through eco-friendly practices and the values of Tri Hita Karana—harmony among people, nature, and the divine. The beautiful orchids, medicinal plants as our "living apothecary", organic bananas and aromatherapy leaves - are all fertilized with our homemade compost.

We are proud to say that Serenity Bali is the first eco-friendly Guesthouse in Canggu practicing permaculture. This means we have developed a self-sustaining ecosystem through organic gardening. Expect to see vegetation all around you and please do not be alarmed if you find insects or spiders in your room. If this happens, please notify reception. We’ll deep clean the room using only natural, chemical-free insect repellent.​​
