DIAZ

Yoga Style:

Creative Vinyasa, Power Yoga

Diaz projects happiness and creativity in his teaching at Serenity Bali. Blending Vinyasa Flow, Budokon, Qigong, and Inside Flow making the dynamic fusion between mindfulness, movement, strength & challenge into his class. With a 500hr Yoga Teacher Training under his belt and his background as a choreographer, he brings his class to sequence the poses together like a dance to a whole new dimension. He'll guide your practice out of the box and set your mind and body to expand all sorts of possibilities. His class is rather fun, playful, energetic and funky at the same time.

MANO

Yoga Style:

Aerial Yoga

Mano Hara grew up in a small town in Bali and later moved with his family to Denpasar in search for a better life. At the age of 14, his friend introduced him to Martial Arts. He worked hard at the sport until an injury kept him from practicing for two years. In 1990, Mano began practicing yoga at Ananda Marga in Denpasar and enjoyed relief from his injury after one year. He tried Tantra Yoga and was then introduced to the Master, Shrii Shrii Anandamurti. He also practiced daily meditation techniques where he learnt from Ananda Marga. Since 2000, Mano has been teaching yoga in Bali and completed his training for aero-swing and aero-yin in 2016. He now lives the life he’s always dreamed of at Serenity Bali.

YOGI

Yoga Style:

Chakra Flow

Yogi teaches a variety of yoga styles - Vinyasa, Hatha, Beginner Yoga and Meditation. He was first introduced to yoga in 1992 when he met a monk from India through his friend. A few years later, in 1995, he began his Yoga Teacher Training Philippines and completed in India. Yogi wants his students to know that practicing yoga isn’t just to help them stretch their stiff bodies, but also to help them change their entire lives for the better. He notes, “yoga can change the way you see things, the way you deal with situations, the way you think, and eventually how you live your life".

CHITRA

Yoga Style:

Ashtanga, Power Yoga, Detox Flow, Yin Sound Healing

Chitra’s passion for yoga started back in 2011. She realized how yoga changed her life - both physically and spiritually. From there, she decided to share her positive experience with others by becoming a yoga teacher. To learn more about yoga, Chitra travelled to India and completed her 200hr Ashtanga Vinyasa in Mysore. Later on, she came back to Bali for a 40hr Fly High Yoga training at Serenity Bali. She loves to teach, and through teaching yoga she can lead and help others on their yoga journey and make yoga a part of their daily lives. For her, practicing yoga is a beautiful connection with oneself, while teaching yoga is a beautiful connection with others.

KARTANA

Yoga Style:

Vinyasa, Sunrise flow, Hatha

Kartana has been practicing yoga since the age of 24. He specializes in Vinyasa form, an on-going stream of flowing yoga poses. Born and raised in Bali, Kartana completed his 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in Ubud in 2006 under the guidance of American Vinyasa veteran, Melissa Spamer (Lotus in The Flames) and acquired another 200hr YTT from Chakra Yoga School in Ubud in 2018. He appreciates the continual challenge that yoga presents both physically and psychologically. He believes yoga is to be the perfect complement to other forms of exercise as it improves flexibility, balance, and strength.

TAO

Yoga Style:

Yin Yang, Hatha, Vinyasa, Myofacial Release

Since 2007, Tao has immersed himself in the practice of yoga, discovering an immediate connection to its physical and spiritual benefits, transforming it from a mere physical routine into a profound way of life. Throughout his journey, Tao is an ERYT-500 in various yoga disciplines, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, FluidUS Style, and Myofascial Release. This diverse training background equips him with a broad array of practical techniques aimed at enhancing the health, happiness, and freedom of his students. Enriched by global travels and exposure to diverse teachers, Tao brings a unique and comprehensive perspective to his classes, where integrity and clarity define his teachings. Regardless of ability or prior yoga experience, all are warmly welcomed into Tao's classes. Notably, having completed training in Embodied Trauma Integration, Tao takes his offerings even further, providing a compassionate and healing touch to those on a journey toward wholeness.

Yoga Style:

Acro yoga, Vinyasa, Hatha, Yoga Therapy, Yin Yoga Healing

Astri was born and raised in Balinese culture, where Yoga is already a part of her daily practice. In 2010, an injury in her tailbone led her to deepen her practice in yoga. After 2-3 years doing self-practice, in 2016, she completed her 200hours with School of Sacred Art. She also accomplished her trainings in Yin Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Acroyoga, Thai Yoga massage and Fly High Yoga. The experience and tools that she has, she will share with you at Serenity Bali, in order to connect, bring awareness, explore, be safe, accept, and honour the body when it is in the present moment. Also, she is committed to providing extensive instruction and coaching, whilst motivating students to find inner peace and the path to their healthiest, happiest selves through powerful teaching plans. With it she holds a deep love and respect for the many arts of yoga, and all that they encompass.

Yoga Style:

Inversion Flow, Power Yoga, Vinyasa, Yin

Kemie has been a devoted yoga teacher and a student for 5 years. She taught in different parts of the world while working on luxury private yachts, in India, in Egypt and as well as online. She is passionate in teaching and practicing Inversion/arm balancing base yoga and pranayama/meditation. She focuses on incorporating modern neuroscience in her classes, combining different breathing techniques and neuro drills to help her students deepen their self awareness and progress most efficiently and effectively. At Serenity Bali, become more in control of your body, internally and externally, and realize that you are a limitless being!

QINO

Yoga Style:

Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Yin Yang, Pranic Healing

Growing up overweight made Qino uncomfortable and not confident in his skin, which doesn't mean he didn't love himself, it's all about health issues. He has been practicing Yoga since 2015. It's a big life change for him. He started to understand that yoga helps him to embrace his confidence and to value himself not only for his physical body but also mentally and spiritually. For him repeating a couple of rounds of the classical sun salutation sequence A and B, is simple but so powerful as asanas (physical postures) to unlock the body from the unconfident feelings and also to warm up the physical body in a safe way. Now he is ready and would love to share his experience and expertise with others at Serenity Bali. Qino says "For me any kind of yoga style that you like, please do it with a humble attitude and positive intention, then you will meet your true teacher inside you, stay humble and be inspired!"

Hip Opening Flow, Yin Yoga

Elena has 15 years of rhythmic gymnastics experience, which led her to seek a deeper connection with her body. Transitioning from professional sports, she found solace in yoga a decade ago. As a yoga instructor for 6 years, Elena now specializes in hip-opening flows and yin yoga, helping students unlock new motion ranges and release emotions in adaptable, welcoming classes.

Power Yoga, Yin, Restorative, Vinyasa, Hatha

Max has experienced the life changing benefits of yoga. He is passionate about leveraging the practice of yoga as a way to deep dive into the inner self. Max is teaching dynamic yet all levels classes. His classes feature creative and flowing sequences that strengthen the body, subtle themes to provide space to challenge the mind and breathwork to help create a moving meditation. You can expect to leave Max’s classes feeling relaxed, empowered, positive and wanting to return.

HELENA

Yoga Style:

Jivamukti Yoga, Vinyasa

Helena is from the Czech Republic and she has discovered yoga more than 13 years ago when she was traveling the World. Veganism and her passion for animal rights brought her to Jivamukti method.

Since 2019 she has been teaching classes and workshops in Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Spain, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Kenya. Helena loves to create challenging yoga sequences, playing harmonium and chant mantras during the classes.

She was inspired and influenced by her teachers to whom she is forever grateful - David Life, Sharon Gannon, Juan Sierra and all other teachers that she met on her path.

Ricardo is originally from the Netherlands. He was part of the Royal Dutch Marine Corps and worked as a personal trainer in both Australia and the Netherlands. With deep knowledge of body work background, Yoga was introduced to him in 2017 and he fell in love right away in Bail. Yoga showed him the powerful connection between body mind and soul. Leading him switched his path of his life and being a yoga teacher in Bali. Likes to connect with new people. He is dedicated to offering dynamic , exploration of body mind and somatic experience class for all levels of students.Senior Assistant of Carlos Romero, Livininspired. French-born and globally inspired, I’m Tiph—a 350H RYT-certified yoga teacher trained in Hatha, Vinyasa, Power Yoga, Yin, and Yin Yang. I blend mindful movement with trauma-informed practices to help others reconnect with their bodies and inner strength.

Also certified in MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) and a Breathwork facilitator, I guide students through deeply transformative experiences that integrate the mind, body, and breath.

With over 7 years of teaching experience and a background in Hatha, Yin, Vinyasa, Pre & Postnatal, and Tantra yoga, she offers a grounded, heart-led approach to movement and healing. After leaving a demanding career in Film & TV, Sammy began to embrace yoga as a way of life. She now shares her passion through nurturing classes, transformative retreats, and women’s circles—supporting others to reconnect with their strength, softness, and inner wisdom.
